The Wall (Die Wand) (2012)
Dir: Julian Roman Pölsler
This movie begins with an unexplained kafkaesque predicament and goes on to become a beautiful, introspective piece that explores the depth in a seemingly simplified existence, of our friendships with our animals, and loneliness over time. It’s one if the most incredibly poetic and touching films. It’s paced like a Terence Malick film so watch it on a night you are feeling pensive & serene.
